My first pair of Louboutins

What can I say? I just love stilettos, especially those with a red sole. It’s not because of the fame that’s hiding behind the name, but just because I like the vision of the designer, Christian. The designer’s professed goal has been to “make a woman look sexy, beautiful, to make her legs look as long as [he] can”. That’s pretty important, no? I have dreamed a long time of buying Louboutins. That’s why I started saving money (yes I bought them myself). The day that I had enough money, I went to the Louboutin store in Brussels, Place du Grand Sablon. It was a small, but cozy shop (with a porter!). Unfortunately you were not allowed to take photos. I’ve tried on different pairs. The shop assistent was very kind and helpful. After an hour I finally went for the classic ‘So Kate Patent’ model, 120mm. When I had them on my feet I fell ‘head over heel’ in love with them. I must admit that it may not be the most comfortable shoes, but be honest, they look beautiful! And as Christian would say: “High heels are pleasure with pain”.
